You are accessing the website of ARP Rheumatology. It is my honour to invite you to read the online resources.

Acta Reumatológica Portuguesa was founded in 1973 as the official journal of the Portuguese Society of Rheumatology. It is a scientific peer-reviewed open-access journal devoted to progress in the research, diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. Both basic research and clinical papers may be submitted. The journal aims at serving the interest of both practising clinicians and research workers. Editorials, short communications and review articles covering recent developments are included. Controversial techniques and issues on health policy are frequently discussed and serve as tools for encouraging debate. It also publishes guidelines and clinical protocols related to the practice of rheumatology particularly relevant to all Portuguese speaking countries.

ARP Rheumatology accepts articles written in English and has no publication charges.

The journal is indexed on PubMed/ Medline and all the articles are available online with free access. An increasing number of readers access the journal online via Pubmed, one of the world's most famous services for retrieving biomedical literature.
